Nature of services

Services include consultation, training, editing, and analytical support. Scope, deliverables, timing, and fees are agreed before work begins. A website description alone is not an agreement to undertake work.

Researcher and author responsibility

The researcher remains responsible for the originality of their work, their decisions, their data, and the final use of any support or feedback. Institutional and publisher requirements for external assistance and disclosure apply.

Materials you provide

Share only materials you are entitled to provide, and remove unnecessary identifiers belonging to participants or other people. Arrangements for sensitive files should be agreed in advance.

Fees, timing, and revisions

Fees, delivery dates, revision scope, and any payment, cancellation, or refund arrangements are set out in the service agreement before work begins. Material scope changes require an updated agreement.

Assessment and publication

Services are delivered within the agreed scope. Academic assessment, acceptance, and publication decisions remain with the relevant institutions and publishers.
